Finlandia University is now offering a $1000 Visiting Scholarship to all incoming students who make the journey to visit campus. The $1000 will be paid out in $250 increments over four semesters. This scholarship is only available to first-time, full-time students in good standing at the University entering Fall 2020. Students must schedule a visit through the admissions office and complete their visit by May 1, 2020.
“With Finlandia being located in Hancock, Michigan’s northernmost city, it can be intimidating when you look at it on a map,” Admissions Officer Luke Paul said. “When a student is able to come up and see what a beautiful area Finlandia is in, it’s hard not to fall in love with it. The normal reaction when a student comes to visit campus is how small it is. Looking at the school online doesn’t do it justice. When a student is able to come and see what all Finlandia has to offer, it really changes their view on the school and they find it very beneficial to come up.
“It is one of the easiest scholarships to get and an opportunity that you do not want to miss.”
