Finnish student teacher visits from Hei Suomi Program in South Range

To top off season two, Finlandia Fridays was visited by Nikki Lishinski and Tuuli Savelainen. Savelainen is participating in the Hei Suomi program. The program brings Finnish teachers into the schools in South Range so the students are able to experience a different culture.

Join Hei Suomi staff for Meet and Greet on October 10

Join University of Lapland student-teachers Jarno Jokiharju and Santeri Havela and Finlandia Foundation Lecturer of the Year Sharon Rahkonen, Ph.D., for an informal coffee time and learn about the fascinating work Jarno and Santeri have been doing as teachers of the Hei Suomi program at South Range Elementary School.
