The Parade of Nations starts at 11 a.m. at Quincy Green in Hancock. In association with Bridgefest 2022, the Thatcher Markham Memorial Run will be held on Friday, June 17 and they are seeking volunteers. Presented by Aspirus Health, the race will start on the corner of Quincy St. and Scott St. in Hancock and finish at Bridgeview Park in Houghton.

For more than 40 years, the Canal Run has been creating incredible memories in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. Founded to promote the involvement and wellness of our community and its members, the event is a highlight of the summer for many of the hundreds of people who participate or volunteer each year. The parade will start at 11:00 am. Due to the ongoing construction in town, the parade route will be different this year. It will start at Franklin Square in Houghton, go through downtown, and finish at Kestner Park.

The CopperDog 150 is less than two weeks away, and the dogsled race in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula is seeking volunteers. The race is a perfect opportunity for teams and groups to get together, but there are also dozens of opportunities for individuals and families to participate. Finlandia is proud to be a sponsor of the event once again in 2017.
