Finlandia University begins its 120th year

Finlandia University is alive with the buzz of students once again as classes for the Fall 2017 semester begin this morning. Last night students, faculty, staff and local alumni came together for the opening convocation.

“The convocation ceremony was a great start to the new year,” Campus Pastor Soren Schmidt said. “Between that and the fun that was had at our New Student Orientation, you can feel incredible energy around the university.”
