The Finlandia University Gallery will present a six-person exhibit titled What We Will Inhabit if Not Our Bodies at the Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC), Hancock from January 8 to February 12, 2021. Join International School of Art & Design Dean, Denise Vandeville, on an art walk through the city of Hancock. Walks will commence at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. at Old Main on Quincy Street. Students can sign up for the walk here.
For Robert Lake (BFA, ’07), design has always been an important part of his life.
“I grew up liking art and drawing, and when I got to high school, I was unsure of what direction to go,” said Lake. “I began looking into Finlandia’s Industrial and Product Design program and decided to come here because I liked to draw vehicles.”
For Lake, the small class sizes and opportunities to work on projects enhanced his learning experience.
