Three Events in One Night! Finlandia Art Night to be held Thursday, March 23

Student Juried Art Reception, Cardboard Fashion Show, Faculty Exhibit

Join us on Thursday, March 23, to celebrate the arts at Finlandia University. Finlandia Art Night will include three events: the 2023 Faculty Exhibit, a reception and awards presentation for the Finlandia Student Juried Art Exhibit and a cardboard fashion show by Finlandia art and design students.

The Finlandia Scholarship for Art

The Finlandia Scholarship for Art is a new competitive art scholarship opportunity available for Fall 2023 incoming freshmen or transfer students majoring in Art Therapy or Graphic Design.

Scholarship Requirements:

International School of Art & Design 2021 Bachelor of Fine Arts Diploma Works Exhibition

Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design (ISAD) 2021 Bachelor of Fine Arts Diploma Works Exhibition is featured from April 28 to July 22, 2021, at the Finlandia University Gallery. The Finlandia University Gallery is located in the Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock.

The Finlandia University Gallery will present a six-person exhibit titled What We Will Inhabit if Not Our Bodies at the Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC), Hancock from January 8 to February 12, 2021. Art & Design Alumni, Robert & Stephanie Lake (’07), Provide Unique Freelancing Opportunity for Students

For Robert Lake (BFA, ’07), design has always been an important part of his life.

“I grew up liking art and drawing, and when I got to high school, I was unsure of what direction to go,” said Lake. “I began looking into Finlandia’s Industrial and Product Design program and decided to come here because I liked to draw vehicles.”
