Servant Leadership House Trick or Treating for UNICEF

Be on the look out for the Servant Leadership House gals the week leading up to Halloween, October 24-31. This will be the fourth year the crew will be trick or treating for UNICEF. Instead of giving us candy we ask that you donate your loose change to UNICEF. United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) was founded in 1946. Since then, they have reached and continue to reach children in 190 countries and territories where they protect the rights of every child by helping provide education, safe environments and medical aid to improve their lives.

What your loose change can give:

• $8 gives one family clean drinking water
• $15 gives 5 mosquito nets children to protect from malaria
• $55 gives 1 box, 150 packets, of food to save a malnourished child
• $210 allows 40 refugee kids to learn and heal by receiving a School-in-a-box
