Who likes to be stressed by deadlines? Literally, no one

The moment in a person’s life when they realize they have made a choice that is right for them is so rewarding. We believe that is how every high school graduate should feel about their college choice.

However so many of them feel stressed to choose a college and a degree program, that they lose sight of how exciting this moment can be. That’s why, here at Finlandia, we don’t have deadlines for admission.

“We believe that all students should have time to make their decision,” said Collin Saint-Onge, Director of Admissions. “Students should have the opportunity to visit campus and see what campus life is like. That’s why we don’t have deadlines.”

We also take the stress out of waiting to hear back from the college of your choice. With a 24-hour turnaround time on your application, you’ll know the status of your acceptance within a day.

Even after acceptance, there are still things that can seem daunting, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. With both our admissions and financial aid teams, you’ll feel relaxed and informed about your transition to the college experience.

“When students come to talk to us about their financial aid, they are always talking to one of the three of us [on the team],” said Michelle Tanner, Coordinator of Student Accounts. “They get to see the same faces and that really helps them.”
