Employee welcome letter from Campus Ministry

August 23, 2016

Welcome, staff and faculty, to another great school year at Finlandia University. It takes a village to work together in helping to greet, build up, encourage, lift up, educate and develop our students as we all walk along with them in their development as a whole person for their whole life.

Chapel of St. Matthew at Finlandia UniversityThe Chapel and the office of the Chaplain are open to all (employees and students) for centering and discussion. Reminder that the Chaplain’s office remains a confidential office.

This year Campus Ministry also has a couple new things to offer online at finlandia.edu/campusministry.

  • Prayer Requests – If you would like to request prayers for yourself, a loved one or some situation that is in your heart, use the form on the campus ministry page to send your request to Finlandia University Campus Ministry. Campus Ministry staff willmake sure that your request is offered to God with the prayers of Finlandia University’s community in a confidential manner.
  • Student Referral Submission – Campus Ministry is available to all students. While that’s true, we know many students aren’t always active insearching out opportunities, which is why we invite you to refer your friends or family members.
  • Campus Ministry E-mail Newsletter – Roughly on a weekly basis during the semester, we’ll reach out to you with reminders of upcoming events, prayersand more! Sign-up using the form on the Campus Ministry page.

Please consider stopping by during chapel times, group events, or for any personal or individual centering and discussion as needed. Hours will be posted by my office door (lower level of the Chapel) and on the Campus Ministry page of the website. You can also drop an email my way to setup a time to talk, pray, etc.
