Donations Needed – ALD partnering with Toys for Tots

Finlandia University’s Alpha Lambda Delta first-year honor society is partnering with Toys for Tots this holiday season, and your help is requested.

November 28 through December 9 toy bins will be played around campus for the campus community to donate toys. Toys for Tots is a program in which it serves to collect toys for needy children that may not have Christmas presents under their trees this year. After the event social workers receive the toys and donations from the Marine Corps League. The toys and donations are given out by social workers to the families that are in need in the Keweenaw community.

The student group is asking the students, faculty and staff for donations. People can donate toys, stuffed animal, puzzles, and books, in the bins. Toys are preferable though. All donations are anonymous.
