Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) is one of the largest non-profit Youth and Family Support agencies, in 29 states plus DC, working with high-risk youth and their families in the United States. Currently, YAP employs more than 2,000 dedicated workers and serves approximately 20,000 youth and families per year.
Our mission is to engage human service systems so that they rely less on institutional care and invest more in supporting families and neighborhoods. We currently work with child welfare, juvenile justice, behavioral health, disability, primary health care, and education systems to develop and offer community-based alternatives for the highest risk children, young people, young adults and families, and adults.
The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned clients and their families. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.

Aspirus Keweenaw is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative / Delivery Technician in our Home Medical Equipment division at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for receiving, filling and delivery of orders, telephone communication with customers and sales representatives, obtaining accurate billing information, teaching of products to customers with documentation, over the counter as well as prescribed product sales, product and pricing research as well as product maintenance and repair, delivery and trans-filling of oxygen according to FDA standards, delivery of oxygen according to DOT standards , inventory control and ongoing maintenance of facility. Must have good working knowledge of all products sold by HME.

The Office Manager primarily handles all the day to day bookkeeping (QuickBooks) including data entry of the payables, payroll and daily shippers. The Office Manager will also schedule delivery appointments, answer and direct incoming calls and order office supplies.
Skills and Qualifications: Comfortable with QuickBooks and be willing to learn new ERP system (NetSuites) with good communication skills.

Copper Country Mental Health, a four-county community mental health center, is recruiting a Billing Specialist to work as a member of the Financial Administration team. This individual is responsible for monthly processing of third party insurance and consumer billing, claims processing, provider enrollment, insurance policy verification, billing integrity and Ability to Pay set-up. Requirements include: Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have excellent computer skills including advanced Excel knowledge. We have two excellent part-time paid internship opportunities available for current college students who are majoring in Healthcare Management, Communications, or a related field of study. This is a temporary position working 20 hours per week from March, 2021 – September, 2021.
This is an hourly paid position at $15 per hour. Training will be provided by OCHIN.
Must be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program with the ability to work independently, think analytically and make sound judgments. Must have a great attitude, willingness to learn, and demonstrated reliability.
