Applications Now Being Accepted for Virginia Fund Scholarship

Applications are now being accepted for the Virginia Fund Scholarship, which is open to all freshman women at Finlandia University. The scholarship, typically $250-500 is awarded based on academic achievement and contribution to campus life. Applications will be reviewed by the Academic Achievement Committee and the winner will be announced at the Honors and Awards Banquet on Friday, April 17.  The Virginia Fund Scholarship will be applied to the 2020-21 academic year. Students of all majors are invited to apply and applications are due by March 11.

On the form, students will need to write a statement to the Academic Achievement Committee outlining their accomplishments, memberships in organizations, volunteer service, extra-curricular activities, etc. during their time at the university. Statements should be less than 500 words in length.
