Alumni push leads to record video views and $1,500 in donations

August 23, 2017

A social media push by International School of Art & Design (ISAD) alums in July ended with more than $1,500 in donations or pledges, 16,000 video views and more than 500 video shares.

“I am so impressed and pleased at the dedication of the ISAD alumni,” said Denise Vandeville, dean of the school. “I applaud their determination to help us share the distinct experience that is an education at Finlandia University’s International School of Art & Design.”

The drive took over social media feeds of those associated with the university in July, and the results are unprecedented at the university. The 16,000+ views the video received are 10,000 more views than any other video the university has published on Facebook. In total, more than 35,000 people were reached through the campaign.

The winner of the raffle was Finlandia University employee Joanna Chopp! Thanks to Jordan Siegler and North Wind Books for making that available, and the dozens of people who submitted their name to win the prize.
