North Wind Books hosting “Bakers & Books” series

Every Thursday, beginning August 17 and running through the end of September, North Wind Books will be hosting a local baker for a series titled “Bakers & Books.” The series is open to the public, will feature complementary coffee and will begin at 10 a.m. each Thursday.

“Books and baked goods go together like peanut butter and jelly,” store manager Alana Nolan said. “We have some amazing bakers in our community, and this will be a great opportunity for the community to get to know them.”

Kayleen Holmstrom will be the opening baker on August 17. Holmstrom will be selling the same delicious homemade cinnamon rolls that were featured recently on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel.
