The Upper Peninsula’s winters are long and dark. With the leaves changing color outside, it is appropriate to begin preparing for the winter ahead. Many individuals in northern climates struggle with mood changes along with the impending darkness. A condition called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is prevalent.
