Local health sciences students receive Portage Health Foundation Scholarship

Small communities need the support of its healers. With the Portage Health Foundation Scholarship, local students are given tuition aid to encourage them to go into the health sciences and in the hopes that they will remain in or return to the Upper Peninsula for their careers.

Finlandia Blood Drive brings aid and education to community

The Finlandia University Student Nurses Association (FUSNA), in association with the U.P. Regional Blood Center, is hosting their annual blood drive from 12 to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 10, in Finlandia Hall.
