The Professional Tutor primarily delivers individual and group academic coaching and tutorial assistance to Finlandia students in core and general education courses. The Professional Tutor teams with professional and peer tutors to offer academic coaching and tutorial services to participants of a federally funded, educational opportunity program that annually serves FinnU students and the general Finlandia University student population.
As a team player within the athletics department, the Head Football Coach should foster student personal growth and development as well as academic and athletic achievement. The Head Football Coach’s primary emphasis for the position is recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, and the administration of a competitive NCAA Division III football program while adhering to all NCAA and/or conference rules for the sport of football.

The cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for students, faculty, staff and guests of the University. The cook may regularly be involved in the delivery, set-up and clean-up of catered events on and off campus. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for routine preventative and corrective maintenance to university buildings and equipment. The Maintenance Worker is also responsible for grounds upkeep and other assigned tasks.

The Housekeeper has moderate contact with university employees and students while performing cleaning duties. The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Finlandia University Campus is a safe and secure environment. The Officer will be responsible for a variety of functions, including but not limited to, patrolling and securing campus facilities, issuing ID’s and parking permits, enforcing parking policies, reporting incidents and maintaining access to facilities and grounds.
