Jordan Shawhan

Biography

Originally from the Eastern Upper Peninsula, Jordan relocated to the Copper Country from Grand Rapids, MI when he joined Finlandia in Spring 2021.

As director of marketing & communications, Jordan oversees the MarCom team consisting of its communication & design specialist, social media specialist, department work-studies and interns. Together, the team tells the story of Finlandia University through its students, alumni, faculty, staff and community. The Communications Department manages the areas of public relations, finlandia.edu, advertising, communications, publications, social media, graphic design, photography, videography, etc.
