Festival Ruska at Finlandia University in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula

Finlandia University’s roots are in Finland, and the university celebrates those roots with an eclectic event appropriately named Festival Ruska.

This year, Festival Ruska includes an abundance of Finnish American Folk School programming, with classes in log sauna construction, Finnish-style leather boot and shoe making, and Finnish Folk Music.
