Omaha-based author Meredith Fuller will be coming to the Copper Country for a book signing at North Wind Books. Fuller’s latest publication is Quarry, a Finnish-American mystery book about a young girl of Finnish and Irish descent who loses her father under traumatic circumstances and sets out to learn what happened to him. Author Meet and Greet with John Smolens

North Wind Books is proud to be hosting Upper Peninsula author John Smolens for a meet and greet and reading on Wednesday, April 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. The event is free to the public and will include short readings by Smolens at 4 and 5 p.m. Smolen has published 10 books, including his newest title, Wolf's Mouth, which won the Michigan Notable Book Award, and Cold, which was officially reissued on March 1 of this year after originally being published in 2001.
