Employee Portrait Session
Employee portrait session on August 22 All Finlandia University employees are requested to stop by the Sulo and Aileen Maki Library on Monday, August 22 between 1 and 4 p.m. to have their professional portrait taken. Photos will be taken by contracted photographer Jillian Sarazin, and will primarily be used on the FinnU website. All staff and faculty, reguardless of deparment and status as full-time or part-time employee, are requested to attend the session. Employees who had their photo taken during one of the two sessions held in the spring do not need to have their photo retaken. Any questions…

EMPOWER Training for Advisors
Prior to advising and registration season beginning, there will be training sessions for any advisors that are interested in attending. These sessions are focused on EMPOWER Student Information System. Alcohol Awareness Month Event – Hold My Beer
The Hold My Beer booths for Alcohol Awareness Month are a class project for Mental Health Nursing. The students have put together facts and information about alcohol use. Participants will be asked a few questions to test their knowledge on alcohol and to learn the facts and dangers of consumption. Brochures and treats will be given to participants. The public, staff, and students are all invited and encouraged to stop by.
