Juried Student Exhibition 2012 Is March 29 to April 18, 2012

• Reception: Thursday, March 29, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. · Fashion Show at 7:15 p.m.

A juried exhibit of artwork by students in the Finlandia University International School of Art & Design (ISAD) is featured at the Finlandia University Gallery, Hancock, March 29 through April 18, 2012.

A reception for the artists will take place at the gallery Thursday, March 29, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., with a fashion show at 7:15 p.m. Awards for student excellence will be presented.

The reception is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will include works by students studying the disciplines of drawing, painting, illustration, ceramic design, glass design, fiber and fashion design, sculpture, integrated design (product, interior, and sustainable design), graphic design, photography, and mixed media.

The jury charged with selection of the exhibit pieces is composed of a Finlandia faculty member, a graduating ISAD senior, and a community member. Much of the student artwork featured in the exhibit will be available for purchase.

The Finlandia University Gallery is in the Finnish American Heritage Center, 435 Quincy St., downtown Hancock.
