The Mobile Food Pantry is Back at the Chapel on Dec. 3

On Thursday, December 3, Finlandia University will be hosting another Mobile Food Pantry in the parking lot between Old Main and the Chapel of St. Mattew. Organized through Feeding American West Michigan, mobile food pantries help fill the gap in hunger needs in a community, by supplementing the ongoing work of local pantries with much needed fresh produce, meat, and dairy. Student Volunteers Needed to Help Build Hancock Playground

The City of Hancock is looking for student volunteers to help build a playground at the Little League Field located in the Driving Park behind the Houghton County Arena. Shifts last three hours, and the the City is hoping for six volunteers on Friday, August 23 from 8am-4:30pm and Saturday, August 24 from 8am to completion.
