TRIO Upward Bound, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture to help nourish high school students this summer

This summer, from June 12 to July 13, 2017, approximately 35 area high school students will experience the daily routines of college freshmen on the Finlandia University campus.

The TRIO Upward Bound summer students live in the Finlandia residence hall, attend demanding daily classes, complete homework, meet new people, and, of course, eat three meals daily in Finlandia’s cafeteria.

For more than 30 years, this ‘mock college experience’ has been part of Finlandia’s year-round TRIO Upward Bound (UB) program 100 percent funded [...]
