Female students with at least a 3.0 GPA are invited to apply to live in the Servant Leadership House next school year. The Servant Leadership House is a unique living and learning community for female students who are committed to personal growth and servant leadership as a means of building a vibrant and caring community.

Servant Leadership House Trick or Treating for UNICEF

Be on the look out for the Servant Leadership House gals the week leading up to Halloween, October 24-31. This will be the fourth year the crew will be trick or treating for UNICEF. It’s On Us Week of Action with Erin Barnett on Finlandia Fridays

This week Finlandia Fridays was visited by Dean of Students Erin Barnett to promote the campus wide It’s On Us campaign. It’s On Us is a national campaign that was started by former Vice President Joe Biden that raises awareness for sexual assault. Finlandia was awarded a grant from the Michigan State Police to advocate the campaign. SLH residents participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

Keep an eye out for the girls in the Servant Leadership House during the week leading up to Halloween. They are once again participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF , so have your spare change ready! Some of the girls will even be in costume.

“Last year with four participants, we raised $42,” student Gina Geliche said. “We stuck pretty close to campus last year, but we will be venturing beyond the borders a little more this year as we have more people collecting.”

Alums come back to help at Servant Leadership House

It was a beautiful summer day in August when Gary and Jean Terrio made it back to Finlandia’s campus.
