Ryan Street Community Garden Receives Expansion Grant

The Ryan Street Community Garden (RSCG) received a grant from the Portage Health Foundation for $5,000. The garden, found on Finlandia’s campus, will use the funds to add an additional seven plots for community members to rent, a new path along perennial beds, a bench, and picnic table. Pickling Demonstration Workshop

Learn the ins and outs of pickling with hands on experience making Dilly beans. Demonstration workshop lead by MSU educator Beth Waitrovich. Additional food safety resources will be available. Hosted by the Ryan Street Community Garden. All supplies are provided. Class is free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated.
