Finlandia University launches online mental health counseling service for students through META Teletherapy

META Student Teletherapy provides students with confidential and easy access to a marketplace of mental wellness providers. Finlandia University, a long-standing liberal arts college in northern Michigan, has become the latest institution of higher learning to offer META Teletherapy to students.

The Mobile Food Pantry is Back at the Chapel on Dec. 3

On Thursday, December 3, Finlandia University will be hosting another Mobile Food Pantry in the parking lot between Old Main and the Chapel of St. Mattew. Organized through Feeding American West Michigan, mobile food pantries help fill the gap in hunger needs in a community, by supplementing the ongoing work of local pantries with much needed fresh produce, meat, and dairy. The Table Student Needs Pantry Wish List

The Finlandia student needs pantry, The Table, has released its wish list for the holiday season. Pastor Sarah Semmler-Smith said the following items are needed:

Toilet paper New winter hats and gloves Laundry detergent Deodorant Granola bars Crackers Macaroni and cheese Ramen Gluten free products
