The nursing job search with Alison Patchel

Soon-to-be nursing graduate Alison Patchel visited Finlandia Fridays this week to talk about her experience at Finlandia, as well as her plans for the future. Patchel is originally from Marysville, a town in the Southeastern part of Michigan. NCHA Offensive Player of the Week Sierra Meiners skates by to talk women’s hockey and nursing

Senior nursing student and women’s hockey captain, Sierra Meiners visited Finlandia Fridays this week to discuss the women’s hockey team and her final year in the nursing program. Meiners was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association’s (NCHA) Offensive Player of the Week this past week. The Finlandia University Student Nurses Association (FUSNA), in association with the U.P. Regional Blood Center, is hosting their annual blood drive from 12 to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 10, in Finlandia Hall. Finlandia offering innovative new affordable RN-BSN pricing structure

$15,000 Price Guarantee – no matter how many credits are needed

Finlandia University has long been known for the strong reputation of its nursing program, and the program is now offering a new affordable RN-BSN pricing structure. Students beginning during the 2016-17 academic year are receiving a $15,000 Price Guarantee to advance their associates degree to a bachelor’s degree. Paula Roth added to nursing faculty at FinnU

Finlandia University’s nursing department is proud to announce the addition of Nursing Instructor Paula Roth. Roth is a practicing nurse at Baraga County Memorial Hospital in nearby L’Anse, Michigan. She has more than 15 years of experience.

“The nursing profession is challenging, especially in rural areas like ours,” Roth said. “I’m excited to pass along my knowledge and my experiences to the next generation of nurses.”
