“Women Playing Hamlet” comes to Finlandia University

A journey of self-discovery with a nod to the long-standing tradition of the theater will be on display April 7-8 on the campus of Finlandia University as the Finlandia Performing Arts Club presents “Women Playing Hamlet,” a comedy written by William Missouri Downs.

Cap & Gown Fitting is February 20-25 at North Wind Books

As the semester draws along, we’re inching ever closer to commencement 2017. To help graduates prepare for that, North Wind Books is hosting cap and gown fitting for December 2016, Spring 2017 and Summer 2017 graduates. Fitting will be Monday, February 20 through Saturday, February 25 during regular business hours (M-F 10-6, Sat. 10-4) at North Wind Books. There is NO CHARGE for graduation attire if fitted during this time period.

North Wind hosting local author Kristin Neva for signing and reading

North Wind Books presents local author Kristin Neva for a book signing and reading on Wednesday, January 18 from 4 to 6 p.m.

This free event will be at the bookstore on the campus of Finlandia University. Neva will be promoting her newly released book, Snow Country.
