Hancock announces summer movie schedule on Quincy Green

The City of Hancock has announced their summer movie schedule to be held Thursdays at sundown on Quincy Green, nestled into the cozy corner knoll between the Hirvonen CHS building and the Finnish American Heritage Center. Finlandia’s community is encouraged and welcome to attend the free events, just don’t forget your blanket and snacks! Finlandia hires new PTA Program Director

Finlandia University has recently hired Melanie Thurmond as its College of Health Sciences Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program Director and Assistant Instructor.

Thurmond (’06) attained an associate’s degree from Finlandia’s PTA program and a bachelor’s degree from DeVry University in Finance. In addition, Thurmond holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay, an opportunity provided by Finlandia’s graduate pathway toward the DPT program. FinnU Announced as ‘Fight the Flu’ Competition Winner

Finlandia University has been announced as the winner of the Yooper U’s Beat the Flu Competition.
