North Wind Books to host Angeline Boulley, author of NYT Bestseller “Firekeeper’s Daughter”

North Wind Books at Finlandia University will be hosting Angeline Boulley, author of New York Times Bestseller “Firekeeper’s Daughter”, for an author presentation and book signing on Thursday, September 30 starting at 3 p.m.

The City of Hancock has announced their summer movie schedule to be held Thursdays at sundown on Quincy Green, nestled into the cozy corner knoll between the Hirvonen CHS building and the Finnish American Heritage Center. Finlandia’s community is encouraged and welcome to attend the free events, just don’t forget your blanket and snacks! FAHC to host Juhannus commemoration June 24

HANCOCK, Mich. — Keeping with a tradition that began nearly a decade ago, the Finnish American Heritage Center will host an intimate ceremony to commemorate Juhannus (Midsummer) at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 24.

Finnish American Heritage Center reopening June 1

The Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC) will reopen to the general public on June 1, 2021 under the following guidelines:

Finlandia, NMU Discuss Partnership Opportunities

HANCOCK, Mich. – Two Upper Peninsula of Michigan universities, Finlandia University in Hancock and Northern Michigan University in Marquette, have launched a joint initiative to explore high-level collaborations between the schools.

Finlandia University Gallery will present the exhibition Who Am I Without Her, Who is She Without Us? by Chicago artist Rita C.
