Pinnow’s presidency begins

The 17th President of Finlandia University, Tim Pinnow, has spent his first two weeks in office focusing on the things that matter the most – community.

Finlandia Alumni Board raises $10,000 for student textbooks

On June 14, alumni, friends and family of Finlandia University joined together in support of Giving Day 2022 in an effort to raise money for student textbooks. Determined to find a way to give back to students, Finlandia’s Alumni Board (FAB) started Giving Day in 2019 and has since raised more than $60,000 in its efforts.

Giving Day 2022 starts now!

Join the Finlandia Alumni Board for a day dedicated to raising money to help students pay for textbooks. The Finlandia Alumni Board seeks to raise $10,000 and is looking to share this message to support their cause. Support student textbook awards on June 14

Giving Day 2022 is one week away!

The Finlandia Alumni Board is hosting its fourth Giving Day on June 14, 2022. The day is dedicated to raising money to help students pay for textbooks.

In 2021, the FAB helped 49 students with their textbooks and was able to help fund two student support initiatives by donating to Finlandia’s Textbook Justice Library and North Wind Books. Finlandia announces FinnFlex

New to Fall 2021, Finlandia University announces FinnFlex. A new meal plan program scheduled for rollout by October 1, FinnFlex provides students ‘flex’ in their diets with funds that can be used at off-campus restaurants through newly formed partnerships. The pilot program, led by Finlandia Dean of Students Erin Barnett, will also feature the new service through on-campus vending machines. All meal plans, except Block Plans, will include varying amounts of FinnFlex to spend.

139 honored on Spring 2020 Dean’s and Honors List

Finlandia University is proud to announce its Spring 2020 semester Dean’s and Honors List Students. In total 139 students earned honors, including 89 who earned Dean’s List honors for having a Grade Point Average of 3.75 or above.

To be eligible for either list students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and have no grade below a “C.” Dean’s List students earned a GPA of 3.75 or above, while Honors List students had a GPA between 3.50 and 3.749. [...]
