Finlandia University Gallery hosts rising stars at fall exhibit

Ashanté Kindle and Khari Turner both created new work for their recent Finlandia University exhibit Copper Planted Seeds. Finlandia University was honored to receive a collection of artwork by the preeminent Finnish American artist Gerald Matthew Immonen.  In 1996 Immonen was the featured artist in Finlandia University’s Annual Contemporary Finnish American Artist Series Exhibition, the longest running exhibit series in the United States celebrating the accomplishments of Finnish American artists.

Virtual ISAD Student Juried Exhibit and Fashion Show happening April 1

A juried exhibit of artwork by students in the Finlandia University International School of Art & Design (ISAD) is featured at the Finlandia University Gallery from March 26 through April 20, 2021.

A Zoom reception for the artists will take place on Thursday, April 1, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A video of the student and alumni fashion show will be presented during the zoom reception, followed by a presentation of awards for artistic excellence.
