Finlandia’s most popular finals week tradition is happening this weekend: Late Night Breakfast & Tutoring!
Stop by on Sunday, December 11, for some last-minute help with studying and for your favorite breakfast fare served up by Finlandia’s faculty and staff. Happening from 7-10 p.m. at the Finlandia Hall Cafeteria!
Student Senate President Allison Cooper visited Finlandia Fridays this week to talk about a few upcoming initiatives the group has planned, including the transformation of Mannerheim Central.
Cooper shared that on the next two upcoming Tuesdays, September 20 and September 27, Student Senate will be stationed outside Finlandia Hall Café from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to hear student opinions on what they would like to see done with the open space in Mannerheim Central.

Finlandia University will be opening the doors of Finlandia Hall this summer for temporary seasonal employees of the Keweenaw looking for a place to stay.
Beginning May 10, FinnU will have single and double occupancy rooms available for nightly or weekly use. Scott Hendrickson was promoted to the Head of Security at Finlandia University. Hendrickson has served as a Security Officer with the University since 2008.
Hendrickson was born and raised in Hancock. He began his degree in Criminal Justice at Red Rocks Community College in Colorado and is currently working on finishing his degree here at Finlandia.
