Finlandia University plans for return to in-person instruction for fall 2021

Finlandia University has announced its plans to return to in-person instruction for the Fall 2021.

Throughout the 2020-21 academic year, the university has provided a safe living and learning environment with a blend of multiple course delivery modalities and robust health and safety policies. FinnU Nursing students and Upper Great Lakes physicians prepare to baseline test students for the fall 2020 semester.

Wraps and salad options coming back to Finlandia Café for Spring semester

Beginning spring semester 2021, the Finlandia Hall Café will offer more meal options for students. Custom-made speciality salad and wrap options will be available, bringing back some semblance of normalcy during the COVID-19 pandemic. MDHHS Launches New COVID-19 Contact Tracing App, Guidance for Holidays

MI COVID ALERT

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has launched a new app for Android/IOS that all students and employees are encouraged to download. The app aids in contact tracing efforts. MI COVID Alert, uses bluetooth to notify users if they were in “close contact” with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Finlandia Moving to Online For the Remainder of Semester Beginning Nov. 16

Due to an increase of active COVID-19 cases among students, Finlandia University will transition to remote learning beginning November 16, one week earlier than initially planned. Finlandia is committed to the safety of our students, community, and the communities where students may travel.

Registration for Spring 2021 Classes Now Open to All Students

Registration for spring classes is now underway for all students. Students must communicate with their academic advisor to receive their PIN. This number has been refreshed and is different from the one you would have used to sign up last semester. Day of Wellness Event Schedule

On November 4, most classes on campus will be canceled so students can focus on their mental health, take a breather, and regroup for the final few weeks of the semester.
