Finnish American Heritage Center reopening June 1

The Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC) will reopen to the general public on June 1, 2021 under the following guidelines:

Finnish American Heritage Center staff still providing services despite closed building

Although the Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC) building has been closed to the public since mid-March, the staff are still diligently providing services to the community. Finnish American Heritage Center to host Finnish fiddling workshops in January

The Community Pelimannit, a series of six Finnish fiddling workshops, will be held January 6–23, 2020, hosted by Finlandia University’s Finnish American Heritage Center.

Finnish Independence Day Program to Honor Women

It’s been nearly 100 years since women in the U.S. earned the right to vote, exactly 100 years since the U.S. began official diplomatic relations with Finland, and 175 years since Minna Canth, Finland’s most famed champion for women’s rights, was born.
