It’s On Us Week of Action with Erin Barnett on Finlandia Fridays

This week Finlandia Fridays was visited by Dean of Students Erin Barnett to promote the campus wide It’s On Us campaign. It’s On Us is a national campaign that was started by former Vice President Joe Biden that raises awareness for sexual assault. Finlandia was awarded a grant from the Michigan State Police to advocate the campaign. Barnett named Dean of Students at Finlandia

Erin Barnett has been named Dean of Students at Finlandia University. Barnett has been with Finlandia since September 2013, advancing from Coordinator of Academic Support Services to Director of Academic Success and Student Life in May 2014, before accepting this position in July 2017.

Finlandia announces second year of Summer Bridge Program

The Summer Bridge Program at Finlandia University will kick off on June 26 for its second year – allowing students to get ahead and better prepare themselves for college.

The Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA) is an exciting study abroad opportunity for Finlandia students with programs in the summer, fall and spring semesters. A consortium between a number of collaborating universities across the U.S., CCSA allows students from smaller universities to experience faculty-led study abroad by sharing resources and connections between schools.
