Applications Open for 2021 Samuel L. Westerman Scholarship for Nursing

Update 2/25: The scholarship deadline has been extended to Wednesday, March 10. This article has been updated to reflect that change.

Nursing students heading into their junior or senior year with a GPA between 3.00 to 3.49 may be eligible for the Samuel L. Westerman Scholarship for Nursing. Application deadline for the scholarship is Thursday, March 10.

Applications Now Being Accepted for Virginia Fund Scholarship

Applications are now being accepted for the Virginia Fund Scholarship, which is open to all freshman women at Finlandia University. The scholarship, typically $250-500 is awarded based on academic achievement and contribution to campus life. Applications will be reviewed by the Academic Achievement Committee and the winner will be announced at the Honors and Awards Banquet on Friday, April 17. The annual Honors and Awards Banquet is Friday, April 13. The event is dependent on our faculty to nominate deserving students for some of the awards and scholarships. Freshman women at Finlandia University have a unique opportunity to receive a scholarship that can be used during the 2017-18 academic year in the Virginia Fund Scholarship. Applications are now being accepted. They are due by March 10.
