Tickets Now Available for Finnish Bluegrass-Rockers Steve ‘n’ Seagulls

Tickets are now available for purchase for the Finnish bluegrass-rockers Steve ‘n’ Seagulls concert, which will take place Wednesday, September 4 at the Rosza Center of Performing Arts. Tickets are being sold for $25 each and can be purchased through the Rosza Center’s website or by calling (906) 487-2073.

Finnish student teacher visits from Hei Suomi Program in South Range

To top off season two, Finlandia Fridays was visited by Nikki Lishinski and Tuuli Savelainen. Savelainen is participating in the Hei Suomi program. The program brings Finnish teachers into the schools in South Range so the students are able to experience a different culture.

Student Senate President Charles Patch kicks off second season of Finlandia Fridays

This week Finlandia Fridays is joined by Student Senate President Charles Patch. The university was introduced to Patch at opening convocation, which took place on August 27, the Sunday before classes started.
