Nursing Alum Suzanne Miron hosting A Taste of Success for Students on March 26

Finlandia University’s “A Taste of Success” alumni speaker series will continue on Tuesday, March 26 at noon with nursing alumna Suzanne Miron, RN, MSN, DNP at Mannerheim Central. All students are invited to join.

This new series features alumni of Finlandia and Suomi College as they talk about their college experience and accomplishments since graduating. Students, employees and friends are welcome to attend the series. The talk will be informal followed by a Q&A session. There is no cost to attend, and pizza will be served.

About Suzanne Miron

Suzanne Miron serves on the team of Family Medicine providers at Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center, serving patients at both Ontonagon Family Health Center and Hancock Family Health Center – Family Practice.

Miron enjoys the relationship she has formed with patients over the years and likes to help people live life to the best of their ability. Miron’s scope of practice begins at adolescence and she feels passionate about preventing and managing chronic disease to obtain the best possible outcome and quality of life throughout adulthood. She has a particular interest in nutrition and helping people prevent the onset of diabetes and teaching people how to manage type 2 diabetes.

Miron says she is fortunate to have lived in the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula for all of her life. She enjoys hiking in the woods, being on the water and all forms of skiing. Being active outside and enjoying nature is important to both Miron and her husband, Mark. She also loves to read and study, watch movies, cook and be creative.
