Students seeking community support for trip to Tanzania
February 13, 2018Soup, Salad and Silent Auction to take place Saturday
Studying abroad is an amazing experience for most students, but for those FinnU students lucky enough to participate in the Service & Learning in Tanzania Experience, it’s a whole different animal. Many of these students spend years planning out how they can make it happen, and on Saturday, February 17 those students are seeking your support as they host a Soup & Salad Lunch and Silent Auction from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
- RSVP on Facebook (not required)
Learn more about the trip in last week’s Finlandia Fridays that featured senior nursing student Christina Krider and Servant Leadership Director René Johnson, https://www.finlandia.edu/news/service-learning-in-tanzania-with-christina-krider-and-rene-johnson/.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or ahead of time from students participating in the program or René Johnson, who can be reached via e-mail, rene.johnson@finlandia.edu, or phone, (906) 487-7558.
