Student leaders installed during ceremony in Chapel of St. Matthew

Late Tuesday morning Finlandia University student leaders gathered at the Chapel of St. Matthew for a spirited service led by Campus Pastor Soren Schmidt. The leaders were blessed by Pastor Schmidt and repeated an oath (below) after hearing Galatians 6:1-10.

I do promise to uphold the aims and responsibilities to which I have been selected. I will strive to develop myself and others in word and deed, to foster and embody a welcoming, serving and SISU lifestyle and to focus on commitment to the education and wellbeing of myself, of others and the community I live in.
