Dia de Muertos Meal on Nov. 3 to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

On Tuesday, November 3rd, a special Dia de Muertos meal hosted by the women’s softball team will celebrate Hispanic Heritage month. The meal was delayed due to COVID-19 challenges this past month, but the good food and festive spirit will pervade!

Finlandia Highest Ranked UP School for “Most Affordable Schools in Michigan for a Bachelor’s Degree” Ranking

Finlandia University is celebrating another award, this time for affordability. FinnU was ranked by Affordable Schools as the most affordable school in the Upper Peninsula as part of the Most Affordable Schools in Michigan for a Bachelor’s Degree. Across the entire state, FinnU was ranked 13th out of 20.

PHOTOS: 2018 Diversity Dinner

Finlandia students created a delicious array of food for their fellow students, staff, and faculty, and community members at the annual Diversity Dinner last night. Dishes included bolitas de mofongo, arroz con leche, jambalaya, carne frita, sushi, and karjalan piirakka with egg butter.
