The most magical moment of the year took place at Finlandia University Sunday afternoon as the Class of 2019 was recognized during the annual commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the Paavo Nurmi Center. At the ceremony 85 students were conferred degrees, while they heard from Student Representative and Marketing Major Haley Makela, and Commencement Speaker Bishop Katherine A. Finegan.

For the second episode of Lion Around, Monica Freeman decided to test a few student’s knowledge with a Michigan slang test. Freeman tested her co-host Gina Geliche, as well as art and design students Denia Bent and Ramona Kuhn.
