ISAD Faculty Exhibit opens February 22

Exhibit Dates: February 22 to March 21, 2017 Opening reception: Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Finlandia University’s International School of Art and Design will present a faculty exhibit at the Finlandia University Gallery, located in the Finnish American Heritage Center (FAHC), Hancock, February 22 to March 21, 2017.

Preview Day highlighted in first episode of Finlandia Fridays

This week on Finlandia Fridays we speak with Director of Admissions Travis Hanson about the upcoming Finlandia Preview Day 2016. In this episode Hanson outlines what exactly Preview Day is, and what it means for recruitment within the university. Preview Day is aimed at incoming students by showing them around campus, including tours of the dorms, classrooms and extracurricular spaces while providing them with a fun and memorable experience.

Finlandia gains new Snapchat filter

Quick, pull out your phone, open Snapchat, take that perfect selfie and start swiping. Why? Because the Finlandia University Snapchat filter is officially active!

The filter can be applied to any photo or video taken on Finlandia’s main campus – reaching roughly from the Paavo Nurmi Center to Old Main.

The filter features a Finnish flag-inspired design, and it’s of course free for anyone to use. It was designed by Finlandia’s Creative Director Brad Beaudette.
