Finlandia University will remain closed on Monday, June 18. Only essential personnel should come to campus.
Campus is closed due to the massive storm that hit Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula beginning in the early morning hours of Sunday. Sunday morning facilities staff completed a sweep of campus, and so far all appears to be well. For those who are in the Keweenaw right now, please adhere to all warnings from emergency responders and stay safe. According to the National Weather Service out of Marquette, the region will remain under Flash Flood Watch until 2 p.m. Monday.
