Study Abroad Workshop to be hosted October 4

Ready to travel to Finland? How about Ireland? Or South America? You’re only a college student once, and now’s your chance to study abroad!

Finlandia University students are invited to learn about all of the study abroad opportunities available to them on Tuesday, October 4 from noon to 1 p.m. at Mannerheim Central during the annual Study Abroad Workshop.

Finlandia University launches new website

The Finlandia University Marketing and Communications Department is proud to announce the launch of a new website. The website went live Thursday, June 2 at finlandia.edu.

Finlandia University 2016 graduation is May 1

Finlandia University baccalaureate and commencement activities for the class of 2016 are scheduled for Sunday, May 1, on the university’s campus in Hancock.

Exercises for Graduation Day 2016 will begin Sunday morning at 10 a.m. with the Baccalaureate Worship Service at the Chapel of St. Matthew, and conclude with the Commencement Exercises at 1:30 p.m. at Paavo Nurmi Center.

The TRIO Student Support Services project at Finlandia University provides academic services to empower 180 qualifying TRIO SSS students to articulate and achieve their personal, educational and career goals.

TRIO Student Support Services delivers a program of academic and personal support designed in partnership with the student. Services support students in ts persisting from one academic year to the next and to graduate with a bachelor degree.

Finlandia University has been awarded $286,598 annually for the next five years by the U.S. Education Department to provide students with academic and other support services they need to stay in college and earn a bachelors degree.
