Learn all about Fall 2020 with FinnU’s New Fall 2020 Web Pages

Finlandia is excited to launch its new Fall 2020 web pages just in time for the new semester. Students, employees and community members can conveniently find information as it pertains to their group on the new pages. In addition, there is a new Covid FAQ page that includes information on FinnU’s Covid-19 case count, testing, quarantining procedures, contact tracing and prevention measures.

Nicholas Kwiek new Academic Career Coach at TRIO Student Support Services

Finlandia University is excited to welcome Nicholas Kwiek as the new TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) academic career coach. Kwiek earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Kenyon College and is working on his Masters of Education in Online Innovation and Design from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Digging into Diversity Dinner with Dewan Keeling

Black Student Union President Dewan Keeling dropped by Finlandia Fridays this week to talk about his experiences at FinnU and the upcoming Diversity Dinner.  Keeling is a junior from Detroit, who is majoring in healthcare management.

Alumni Mentor Program provides valuable opportunity for students and alumni

Finlandia TRIO students have the opportunity to learn from those who have graduated before them thanks to the new Alumni Mentor Program.

The Alumni Mentor Program is available for all TRIO students, regardless of year. Alumni and students are paired by TRIO advisors with the help of Olivia Myers, Coordinator of External Relations, based off shared interests.

The Finlandia University Bowl for Kids team is officially looking for members and baked good donations. Finlandia University Student Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Club and TRIO Student Support Services have teamed up to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Western Upper Peninsula at this great event.
