Finlandia University will not enroll students for the 2023-2024 academic year

On Thursday, March 2, Finlandia University’s Board of Trustees announced that Finlandia will not enroll students for the 2023-2024 academic year. The decision follows months of continuous efforts to find pathways for the University to continue its mission.

Applications now being accepted for 2023 Ryan Bessolo, MSN, RN, CMSRN Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Nursing program students entering into their junior and senior year are invited to apply

Applications are now being accepted for the Ryan Bessolo, MSN, RN, CMSRN Memorial Endowed Scholarship. The application deadline for the scholarship is Monday, March 13, 2023.

Nursing students heading into their junior or senior year with a GPA of 3.25 GPA or higher may be eligible for the scholarship. Qualified applicants must be continuing their nursing studies at Finlandia University the following year.

The Honors and Awards Banquet is upon us, and all faculty and staff are invited to nominate deserving students for scholarships and awards. The event is dependent upon faculty and staff nominations, so please take a few minutes to nominate students you believe to be good candidates by March 13, 2023. Registration dates for Spring 2023 classes

Registration details for spring classes have been released, and the Spring 2023 class schedule is viewable on Empower. Students must communicate with their academic advisor to receive their PIN. This number has been refreshed and is different from the one you would have used to sign up last semester. You can email your advisor as a form of communication at this time to work out your course schedule and to receive your PIN.

Ponsse Einari Vidgrén Foundation Internship returns for Finlandia students in 2023

Application period is expected to open in December 2022

Ponsse and Finlandia University are pleased to announce an upcoming internship opportunity for a Finlandia University student. The internship will last approximately five to six weeks, including two at Ponsse North America in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and three at Ponsse Plc Headquarters in Vieremä, Finland. Finnish & Nordic Studies program expands online offerings to public

Finlandia University’s Finnish & Nordic Studies program is happy to announce an expansion of its Spring 2023 course offerings to auditing students. The development will increase the available spots for auditors in two classes, FNS 360 Kalevala and FNS 221 History and Culture of Finland.
