This year, out of an abundance of caution due to COVID-19, MLK Day activities originally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 17 have been postponed. The annual tradition of Finlandia University students taking the day off from classes and participating in community service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day is being altered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Finlandia University students, staff and faculty were all over the Copper Country community on Monday as they recognized Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by performing community service.
