Finlandia University has hired Dr. Cassandra (Carlson) Hill as dean of Suomi College of Arts & Sciences and interim dean of the International School of Art & Design. Hill began her duties on July 1.

Ever had Indian food? How about African? Bangladeshi? You can taste all those cuisines and more at this year’s Parade of Nations on Saturday, September 17.

The Parade of Nations starts at 11 a.m. at Quincy Green in Hancock. The Riku Scholarship is officially back, and two lucky students have the opportunity to seek out a $1,000 scholarship to don the “mane” during the Fall 2022 semester.

Finlandia Alumni Board announces Textbook Award recipients

2019 Giving Day Luncheon with Finlandia Alumni Board and Textbook Award recipients.

The Parade of Nations will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM! Student and community organizations are invited to enter floats or march in the Parade. Details about float guidelines, parade route, etc, are available here. International food returns this year!
